CUD

Objective: create a meeting point for Portland's creative community to collaborate and inspire one another.
Assignment: develop an interactive networking event that allows creatives to be expressive, collaborate, and be inspired by our city: Portland, Oregon.
Description: Sockeye, in partnership with Mathys + Potestio (a staffing firm for creative industries), created a self-produced event called CUD. We gave the 150+ attendees a 6" canvas and asked them to paint what inspired them about Portland. The result was an incredibly wild night of fun and camaraderie. Paintings were auctioned off with over $2,000 in proceeds contributed to the local Boys and Girls Club. Mission accomplished.
